Building construction Update

November 30, 2023 

After several months of progress, followed by delays, we now embark on a new season. God has once again opened the door for progress and work to begin on his Discovery Bay Garden of Healing. This park-like setting will be the home of Mariner's Discovery Church. This week we begin with our burrowing owl nature protection study, land preparation, Tree Protection plan update followed by surveying, 2 Sewer manhole installations, additional sewer lateral work to the building pad, water main installation, additional fire hydrant installations, trenching of electrical lines in preparation of parking lot lamps, as well as other infrastructure needs and requirements.

This new park of reverence and worship is coming at a time when not only our community, but the world needs it most.

Completed building project items:

• Demolition phase complete.
• All trees in construction path have been removed while saving all mature trees.
• Wildlife studies have been completed.

Pray with me: Father we pray this land brings those of whom are in need, a place to pray, worship, reconcile and begin the healing. We pray this gift from you brings families together for fun and faith. As the words from Jesus brings figs from a dying tree, let it bring his love from the endless well of living water.
